Education group
Culture Campus Turku diversifies, strengthens, and renews educational cooperation, such as cross-institutional studies, lifelong learning, and the expansion of competencies.
We create new, high-quality joint study paths and educational modules for students and professionals within the network. We enable flexible study opportunities across disciplines and in multiple languages.
We support smooth transitions within degree-oriented education between different levels and sectors of education, and we aim to reduce dropouts and facilitate entry into working life.
Tasks of the Education Working Group
- We involve students in the planning and implementation of cross-institutional studies.
- We bring together the cultural education offerings in a customer-oriented and up-to-date format.
- We continuously develop the study offering of Culture Campus Turku’s study tray.
- We cooperate with Student City Turku, for example by participating in the Study in Turku fair.
The network’s educational institutions have jointly applied for funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture for the project OSUMA – Streamlining Studies, Expanding Opportunities, and Increasing Cooperation in Culture Campus Turku Studies. As part of the project, we organize twice a year thematic networking and workshop events for the network’s higher education institutions and conservatory staff, focusing on flexible student transitions and increasing teaching cooperation between higher education institutions.
